Your first line of defense is to keep the ink from setting. Some recommend clear carbonated soft drinks, such as club soda. Hair spray may also work. When you launder clothing stained with fountain pen ink, use household ammonia. Ink stains on your fingers can be partially removed by washing with soap and water.
